ALPHA Report No. 95230-26
Submitted herein are the results of our analysis of the pavement
subgrade for the above referenced site. The subgrade was sampled
and a total of two (2) samples were obtained. Two Atterberg-L±mit
tests, .one Minus 200 test, and a cement series were performed on
the samples. Results of the Atterberg-Limits, Minus 200 tests and
cement series are attached.
Recommendations are based on results of the cement series and
laboratory tests referenced above. In order to reduce the
plasticity index of subgrade material along proposed streets to
twelve (12) or less, it is recommended the subgrade along all
streets be stabilized with 2.5 percent portland cement (by dry
weight) (13.0 lbs per square yard for 6 inch compacted depth).
All stabilization should be performed in general compliance with
City of Coppell Standards and Specifications.
