RE: Coppell Family YMCA Parking Expansion
Construction Plan Review Comments
Dear Bill:
I have received and reviewed the referenced plans for the YMCA parking lot expansion and have
the £ollowing comments to offer:
1. Please provide a letter requesting the elimination of lime for the parking lot area. If the lime
is eliminated, you should increase the thickness by 1" or the strength to 4000 psi.
2. It appears as though a 4 - 5 foot high retaining wall is to be constructed along the southern
edge of the parking lot. It has been decided a~er conversation with Coppell's Building
Official, that because this is being constructed as part of the extension o£ a parking lot, the
wall will be inspected by the Engineering Dept. Therefore, please provide detailed
in£ormation on the construction of the wall with these plans.
I am not returning the review set of plans with this letter, however, once changes have been
made, please submit two copies to this office for review. If you have any questions, please
