Based upon our phone conversation earlier in the week. we have prepared the attached break-down
of probable construction cost for the Wrangler Drive project. For the purpose of this cost break-
down, we have dMded the project into Phases I & lI as follows:
Phase I:
Water Improvements - All water line improvements are included in Phase I.
Storm Drain Improvements - Storm Drain Line 'B'.
Pavjg_e~Improvements - The south half of the roadway from the west propert), line
of the Coppell Middle School West tract (approx. Sta. 8+30) to the west curb
return at Enterprise Drive (Sta. 14+22.08)- The full roadway froin the west curb
return at Enterprise Drive (Sta. 14+22.08) to Belt Line Road (Sta. 43 +73.76).
Phase lI:
Water Improvements - None.
Storm Drain Improvements - Storm Drain Line 'A'.
PavinJ~ Improvements - The full roadway from Freeport Parkway (Sta. 0+82.83)
to the west property line of the Coppoll Middle School West tract (approx. Sta.
8 + 30). The north half of the roadway from the west property line of the Coppoll
Middle School West tract (approx. Sta. 8 + 30) to the west curb return at Enterprise
Drive (Sta. 14+22.08).
The break-down of probable cost is based upon the March 20. 1997 Preliminary Hans and
Opinion of Probable Cost Estimate. With a contingency of ten (10) percent, the total estimated
cost for each phase of the project is as follows:
Phase I $1,409,328.25
