It appears that in order to accommodate the existing 48,inch RCP. the following modifications to the current design ,,rill be required: 1. Add a junction box at Sta. 43+50 to transition the two (2) south barrels of the existing 3-6'x3' box culvert from Beltline Road into t-7'x3' box culvert. 2. Replace the proposed 6'x3' box culvert and 5'x3' box culvert from Sta. 43+50 to Sta. 34+65 with 1-7'x3' box culvert. 3. Replace the proposed 5'x3' box culvert from Sta. 34+65 to Sta. 28+55 with 1-6'x3' box culvert. 4. Eliminate the proposed 2-6'x3' box culvert stub-out to the tract at the northwest corner of Wrangler Drive and Be]tline Road and extend only the north barrel of the existing 3-6'x3' box culvert from Beltline Road. 5. Extend the 48-inch RCP from the existing channel and connect to the proposed box culvert in Wrangler Drive at approximately Sta, 34~-75. 6. Add a junction box at approximately Sta. 34+75 where the 48-inch RCP connects to the proposed 7%3' box culvert in Wrangler Drive. Two (2) opinion's of probable cost are enclosed. One is for Storm Drain Line 'B' as currently designed and the second is for Storm Drain Line 'B' as modified to accommodate the existing 48-inch RCP. The difference in cost is approximately $79~O.0a,to-$-I$-~.9. Please note that the estimates do not include any cost associated with the loweringTff~t of the e_~xisting Lone Star Gas pipe!ine_ I am still trying to get an estimate from Lone Star Pipeline.
