Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 972-462-0022 Apr 20, 99s Coppell Crossing Addition, Lot 1, Block 1 Consumction Plan Review Dear Mr. Kurtz: The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comrhents to offer: 1. The minimum width for the proposed deceleration lane must be 11' wide from the face of the existing curb to the face of the proposed curb. ' ' 2. Instead of using the 6"x 6" jiggle bars please provide 4', double, white, reflective, round buttons on 30" centers in the deceleration lane. 3. All fire hydrant locations must be approved by Travis Cramp, Fire Marshal. He can be reached at 972/304-3503. 4. The plat needs to show the utility easements for proposed meter and vaults. If these easements are not a part of the platted property, then the easement will need to be deducted by separate instrument. 5.Show the size of the proposed irrigation and domestic water meters. 6. Provide a note on the Paving Plans stating: "Work performed in and/or adjacent to MacArthur Blvd. will be limited to the hours of off-peak traffic flows, i.e., after 9:00 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m.' 7. Any paving of the fire lane occurring outside the limits of the platted property must be included in an offsite fire lane/access easement. Also, a letter of permission from the property owner will be required to install the proposed storm sewer system offsite of the platted property. 8. Are you proposing to connect to the existing driveway adjacent to Sonic? If not, provide a Type HI barricade at the end of the proposed paving. 9.On the west side of the development, indicate the linear feet of curb leave out. 10. The proposed looped private water line needs to have two connections to the City's water line to ensure adequate pressure There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once these comments have been addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review.
