Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 RE: Proposal for Engineering Design associated with Wrangler Drive/ //ST 96-01 (From Beltline Road to Freeport Parkway) Dear Ken: We received your request for proposal on Wrangler Drive and are greatly appreciative of your remembering our firm and of the opportunity to submit a proposal. We had fully intended to submit one, but circumstances have come up that have prevented us from fully putting together a proposal of the quality and detail that is necessary. We are a firm of very experienced and capable design engineers and, with the exception of possibly a little outside help with the signalization, could have provided a very top quality design project on Wrangler Drive. We are sorry if we have caused you any inconvenience. We would love to have the opportunity to submit a proposal on some future project. I promise you that we will make a very special effort to submit something on that occasion. Once again, thanks for thinking of us. Sincerely, Dino J. FerZi, P.E. PROFILE OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES Schrickel, Rollins and Associates is a multidisciplinary firm providing services in three separate, yet complementary, design disciplines: Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Planning and, as support for the other disciplines, architectural design. The firm assumed its present identity in 1967 and presently employs a staff of thirty-nine in its Arlington office. Professional services are offered separately or in combination depending on the nature of the project and the needs of the client. Projects range from freeway interchanges to campus planning and beauti~cation, from large, award-winning athletic complexes to school site development, and ~'om master park planning and grant writing to water amusement parks. Clients include a wide range of municipal, institutional, and commercial entities. Our staff includes the following registered professionals: six civil engineers, one architect, and eight landscape architects. These practitioners are complemented by other professionals and by technical and administrative personnel. Our Engineers handle the planning and design of the infrastructure of modern life: roadways, bridges, drainage, water treatment and supply, and sanitary sewer systems. Our Landscape Architects address the planning and design of land for parks, schools, universities, commercial sites, streetscape beauti~cation, athletic facilities, industrial campuses, and other outdoor spaces for human enjoyment and appreciation. Our Planners work to integrate these physical elements with social and economic forces, emphasizing spatial relationships, the determination of needs and trends, and the creation of policies for guiding the pace, sequence and nature of future development. Our architectural design staff produces plans for park and athletic facility support buildings, offices, and renovation of community centers, senior adult centers and similar facilities. This multidisciplinary structuring of our professional staff provides our clients with a complete in- house capability for determining the best use and efficient design for land and improvements on the land. The success of this approach can be measured by the numerous awards and honors for our work but, most importantly, by the many long term relationships with our clients. At Schrickei, Rollins and Associates, our mission is to provide our clients with the highest quality professional services in the design and engineering industry.
