RE: Response to .... ~,,~
Dear Mr. Collins:
Enclosed please find two revised blueline sets, and one marked set of construction plans. The
following represents our response to your comments:
1. The utilities have been shaded as requested.
2. A barrier free ramp has been inserted as requested.
3. We have added an additional traffic hump and attempted to have a uniform spacing
between the traffic humps on London Way.
4. We are presently coordinating the driveway location with the church.
5. The four foot sidewalk on the west side of London Way is shown as requested.
6. We have shown the alley being removed and a Type III barricade being installed.
7. The grading plan has been revised as requested.
8. The drainage inlets are now shown on the grading plan as requested.
9. We have attached the drainage area chart on the drainage area map instead of placing the
Q~0o in the drainage area bubbles as requested.
10. We have revised the on-site drainage to reflect a 10 minute time of concentration.
11. From conversations with the Kent Collins, it was determined that the Sandy Lake utility
construction would not be complete until the spring of 2000. In the interim, we are
6001 BRIDGE STREET, SUITE 1OO ! FORT WORTH, TEXAS 76112 / 817-429-4373 (METRO)
requesting to build Storm Drain Line "P-I" as seen on sheet 9 of 18. The plan proposes
to grade a channel and break into the 3'x3' y-inlet that is located in the Sandy Lake right-
of-way in front of the Sandy Oaks Addition. Attached is a blueline of the Sandy Oaks
Grading & Drainage Plan with our proposed development and drainage areas overlaid.
As seen on the display, Sandy Oaks Addition storm drain line "D1.0" was designed with
a drainage area that encompasses the proposed drainage areas from Westbury Manor.
During the construction of the Sandy Lake Road storm drain utilities, Storm Drain Line
"P-l" can be connected to the Sandy Lake system as proposed on Storm Drain Line
"P-l", Sheet 1 of 1.
12.
We have revised all the storm drain systems to have a minimum 10' inlet and a 21"
lateral.
13.
We have added a 4' x 4' junction box at the connection of Storm Drain Line "P-2" and the
storm drain line in Heartz Road. We are proposing to open cut Heartz Road to make the
connection.
14. Storm drain pipe sizes are shown in the plan view as requested.
15.
We have added two junction boxes to storm drain line "P-3". The first junction box is at
the intersection of storm drain line "P-2" and "P-3". The second junction box was added
at the intersection of Westbury Drive and Westbury Court.
16.
Per a previous conversation with Kent Collins on October 20, 1998, we revised the
horizontal alignment of the waterline from 6' to 3' from back of curb in order to eliminate
conflicts between the water distribution facilities, future sidewalks, and driveways.
17.
Additional detail has been added to the northwest comer of the sanitary sewer plan as
requested.
18. Fire hydrant locations have been coordinated and approved by Travis Cramp.
I believe that this addresses all the comments by staff. If you have any questions, please do not
hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
Goodwin & Marshall, Inc.
