NEENAH's Cas~ Iron Slotted Vane Drain offers
ease of installation along with the superior vaned
configuration to capture previously unexpected
quantities of water when prated perpendicular
to the flow. installation is accomplished by sawing
cz slot in the top of conventional PVC pipe, pladn9
the pipe on grade, instollin9 the Cast Iron Slotted
Vane Drain in place and pouring the concrete.
Drain is pedestrian and bicycle safe and con be
used with ccmfidence in urban areas, when used
in conjunction with a vane grate inlet, vir~uofly
oil of the water in the street which would normally
bypass the catch basin can be captured, thus
incr~asing Itm SllX~e between inlets. An addltionol
benefit is the added s,~fety factor c~btained should
the catch basin be plugged or covered with snow.
