I didn't see any. >>> Gary Johnson 1/11/02 11:57:26 AM >>> Rhonda has a form letter she can provide. I am unaware of any such release form Ken. What signatures are you refering to? gwj >>> Teresa Turner 01/11/02 11:11AM >>> QUESTION: Is the contractor required to provide a 'hold harmless' letter from the property owner with his application for an early grading permit? FYi: The contractor (Kirk Woltman - Hillen & Wilk.) for this project requested that we issue him an EG permit this afternoon. He claimed that the engineer for Halff & Assoc. had spoke with Ken and had received verbal approval for the permit. Rhonda faxed him an application and he said that he could complete it and have the 2% fees this afternoon. After further investigation we were not able to locate any verification of Ken's approval of the grading plans. In addition, we could only locate on set of the submitted grading plans and they did not have any signatures. I spoke with Larry Davis who said that it would be fine if the contractor wanted to proceed with installing his erosion control. He also gave him permission to start with some preliminary clearing provided he contacted John Elias before starting. I called Kirk and relayed the information and gave him John's phone number. I also told him that I would get in touch with him on Monday once I was able to speak with Ken. page 11 Teresa Turner - Rei Amberp°int Early Grading permit From: To: Date: Subject: Teresa Turner Rhonda Brothers 1/11/02 2:21:17 PM Re: Amberpoint Early Grading Permit Rhonda: Please fax Kirk that form letter. His fax number is 214-299-4450. He is aware that he must have a pre-con with Larry prior to any dirtwork. Thanks. >>> Rhonda Brothers 1/11/02 1:35:18 PM >>> Yes, to the Hold Harmless letter (I have one with fill-in blanks I can fax to Kirk). After permit is signed & fees paid, they'll have to do a grading pre-con onsite with inspector before any major excavation begins. If Larry said OK to erosion & clearing, hopefully they'll hold off on anything else until he can schedule pre-con. >>> Teresa Turner 01/11/02 11:11AM >>> QUESTION: Is the contractor required to provide a 'hold harmless' letter from the property owner with his application for an early grading permit?
