Dallas County CDBG Project Engineer SUBJECT: Golden Triangle Mobile Home Park Water Line & Fire Hydrants SBzan: I have performed a preliminary review of the engineering firms that you recommend we send Request for Proposals (RFQ) for this Project. Specifically, Dallas County is favorable impressed with work performed by (i) Turner Collie & Braden Inc. and (ii) Pacheco Koch Consulting Engineers. I do not have enough information to evaluate the other three (3) firms. Therefore preliminary review warrants that you obtain RFQ's from the five (5) firms mentioned in your letter dated November 12, 2001. Please forward a copy of the RFQ's fi.om each firm that responds to your inquiry. Upon review Dallas County will rank the firms listed and ask that you combine this ranking with the ranking that the City of Coppell performs in order to choose the best qualified firm. Also, currently I am preparing the Implementation Agreement for this Project. Once the Dallas County District Attorney's office approves the Agreement I will forward three copies of it to you. At that time please have Mayor Sheehan sign all three and return them to me. I will then have Judge Jackson sign them. After Judge Jackson signs and dates them I will return one of the originals to you. Please note that I can only reimburse agreed upon costs for work performed after the day that Judge Jackson signs the Agreements. I can be reached at #214-653-6879 if you have any questions.
