Construction Plan Revision Review Comments
Dear Mr. Anderson:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
1. Since the water line will be in close proximity to the proposed retaining wall around the trees
that are to be saved, the relocation of the water line should include two 45-degree bends in
lieu of the 90-degree bend that currently exists. The water line should not be any closer than
10' to any of the proposed improvements.
2. Additional easement should be granted for the new line between 45-degree bends. This
easement should provide a minimum 10' on either side of the new water line.
3. Add a note providing for continuous fire coverage for the YMCA building while this
relocation is being accomplished.
4. Locate the existing 90-degree bend.
5. Provide a testing point for the pressure and bacteriological testing.
6. Address SWPPP modification, if necessary.
7. Make all drafting corrections including labeling, flowline, top of pipe, proposed and/or
existing elevations. Correct stationing, and add horizontal and vertical scales.
8. Include length of pipe being installed since centerline stationing for the swale does not match
the alignment of the pipe.
9. Contact Travis Crump, Fire Marshal, regarding the fire line before proceeding with the
design. He can reached at 972-304-3503.
Once these comments have been addressed, please return these marked-up plans and two sets
of revised plans to the City for further review. If you have any questions, please contact this
