Council approved the plans as you see them on 12/11/01. We have a contract with the Church next to the
park, to have 192 parking places. 54 additional spaces a't the south end of the lot, and 30 additional
spaces at the north end.

With the exception of a few minor issues which my inspector has pointed out, I see no other engineering
related issues. I am unaware of the details of Councils approval of this project; and therefore, am unable
to verify conformance of layout, number of spaces, etc. Would you please check this for me so that I can
release that plans submitted earlier this week.

Thanks for your thorough review of the plans for the MacArthur Park Parking lot expansion. The plans as
submitted,do follow what was painstakingly approved by City Council at the award of the project.
