Northlake Wood-CS010807From: To: Date: Subject: "Jim Morris" <jtylerboy@msn.com> City_of_CoppelI.Town_Center(Engineer) Tue, Aug 7, 2001 11:03 PM Message for Ken Griffin Ken, My name is Jim Morris. I live a 113 Meadowcreek. Northlake Woodlands - 5th Section, Lot 30. We talked the other day along with Mamie from planning about a replat of my property to relocate the floodway easement in my back yard so that I can put in a pool. Marcie called back and said that Gary would accept an amending plat. I have talked to a surveyor (Analytical Services) about the process and he asked me to pose two questions to you so that he will know the scope of the work required. 1. The first question is relative to the 20 foot sewer easement that runs across the yard. He feels that the most difficult part might be to "tie down" that easement on a map. It is only scaled onto the original plat. The original plat does call out a volume and page for the original dedication of the easement. Volume 68079, page 102. So the question is, Do you have a copy of that volume and page and/or will you allow his to assume that the centerline of the pipe is the centerline of the easement? The manholes are visible on both Lot 28 and Lot 30. If he can set up on one of those manholes and shoot the other and then assume the line easement is 1 foot either side of that, then getting the easement on the new map should be an easy process. 2. Will you allow him to use City Benchmarks. I told him that I thought you said they need to be FEMA benchmarks and he d~dnt understand why. He has a set of city benchmarks and he cart start on one and bring the elevation to my lot and then tie back to another. Is this acceptable? HO Thanks Ken, I want to get this process started. Its been tough because the surveyors really don't want to mess with it. Thanks, Jim Morris Resin Technology, Inc. jmorris@resin pros.com 817-569-0252 Office 817-247-0252 Mobile 972-471-8248 Home
