#1 Review Comments
COVERSHEET
1. Change "BETHEL ROAD" to "BETHEL ROAD I".
2. Add the project number "ST 99-05" to the cover sheet.
3. Make the logo clearer or remove.
4. Add the Mayor, City Council, City Manager, and City Engineer names.
5. Use interim review format as shown.
6. Change "DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND TRANSPORTATION" to
"DEPARTMENT OF ENGINEERING/PUBLIC WORKS".
SHEET2
1. The City has not acquired Creekview Drive right-of-way to Bethel Road yet.
SHEET 3
1. City parcel map indicates that there is right-of-way for the old County Line Road
within the DFW Airport property.
SHEET 4
City parcel map indicates that a 20-foot right-of-way dedication (Vol. 84203, Pg.
1836) extends through the Walter Hogg Partners' property. Can it be verified as to
whether it does or it does not.
We talked about 90- foot median openings being standard in the previous meeting.
TransSystems was supposed to use their turning radius software to determine the
break needed for a Standard Design Vehicle (WB40 we think). We thought we
suggested 75-foot breaks pending verification form the turning software.
3. Label proposed turn radii.
SHEET5
1. There is a truck dock on the east side of the CiCi's building. Do we need a median
opening at the dock entrance/exit driveway?
2. Do we need the median opening on the Gulf United Industries west driveway?
3. Label proposed mm radii.
SHEET 6
1. There is a track dock on the east side of the Gulf United Industries building. Do we
need a median opening at the dock entrance/exit driveway?
SHEET 7
1. Use bullet nose with pavers on Royal Lane.
2. There is a property owner between Royal Lane right-of-way and Coppell Industrial
Addition. The owner is TE Freeport Northland II (Vol. 95245, Pg. 2050). It is Lot
1R and it was dedicated to Freeport North Industrial Owners Association. The plat
for this property indicates that there is a 15-foot right-of-way dedication that is not
shown on these plans.
3. Do not acquire any additional right-of-way through the Coppell Industrial Addition.
4. As-built plans show a 25-foot radius for the new drive under construction.
SHEET 9
1. As-built plans show a 25-foot radius for the new drives under construction.
SHEET 10
1. Lot 2, Block 1 is Minyard Addition (Vol. 97056, Pg. 1150) and not the U.S. Post
Office as labeled.
2. Label the existing right-of-way.
3. There is a track entrance at the most eastern driveway of the U.S. Post Office
property. Do we need a median opening?
SHEET 11
1. It is Lot 1, Block 1, Minyard Addition.
SHEET 12
1. Add openings at Minyards.
SHEET 14
1. Lot 1 - Block A Duke-Freeport Addition
