RE: Removal of Fence and Trees
Ms. Taylor,
I wanted to address an issue in regards to removing the barbed-wire fence and trees along
the property line between the new Creekview Drive and the Champions property.
At the onset of the project, ISI was specifically d~rected ot to remove any of that fence
or trees along the property line. ISI directed our subcontractor to remove up to the fence /
tree line for clearing the fight-of-way for a lump sum contract.
This subcontractor has since completed his scope of work and demobilized. IflSI is
being directed to clear this area along the property line, we are going to incur additional
costs that we did not originally bid. ISI would have to bring in additional equipment,
labor and dumpsters to remove the fence and large trees in that area. Some of the trees
are large enough that they would have to be cut up and individually hauled off. ISI does
not feel that this scope of work pertains to the clearing of the right-of-way for the
roadway. This fence is located on the property line, outside of the indicated right-of-way.
If any further information is required, please do not hesitate to contact Infxastructure
Services, Inc. at (972) 240-8064.
Sincerely,
Philip Bennett
