Dear Mr. Skinner:
The City of Coppell appreciates your efforts with the Texas Historical Commission to
reduce the scope of the archaeological survey initially required along the proposed Sandy
Lake Road project. We have reviewed your proposal and selected your firm to provide
the archaeological services related to the project. Your firm will need to prepare an
agreement that includes a detailed scope of services, lump sum fee, and signature lines
for your firm and the City Manager, Jim Witt. We will need three original copies of the
agreement for execution by the City Manager.

In December 2001, your finn submitted a proposal to conduct a cultural resources survey
of the area impacted by the proposed construction of Sandy Lake Road. The City of
Coppell delayed the review of the proposal until several issues associated with the
proposed roadway project could be resolved. After careful consideration of the
information provided, this letter is to inform you that your firm was not selected to
provide archaeological services related to the project. Your time and effort in preparing
and submitting the proposal is appreciated.
