Dallas Water Utilities has removed all of their electronics from the building but still has the rate-of-flow valve, a bypass meter and a pressure reducing valve that need to be removed. Their line feeding the pump station is still live. I have talked with Tonia and Dave Robinson of DWU on several occasions over the past several months. They have stated DWU would like to salvage those items. They will also shut down their line and cap it off. We originally called DWU in September regarding the abandonment. I had a conservation with Tonia on or about September 27 about the abandonment and a future tie-in for our new pump station. Ted and I met with Centex at the site the first week of November, I again called Tonia several days after our meeting to inform her that some of their equipment was still in the pump station. During our conservation, she stated that she had a memo from the superintendent that all of their equipment had been removed. I made another trip to the pump station several days later and discovered that the items listed above had not been removed and that the line coming in was still live. I again called Tonia and informed her that some equipment was still there. This conservation took place around Thanksgiving. Tonia also gave me the name and phone number for Dave Robinson. Dave is in their pumping division and was supposed to take care of Sandy Lake Pump Station. t tried several times to get in touch with Dave. I again called Tonia on or about December 10 to see if there was anything else she could do to help expedite the demolition. She stated that she would "step on some toes" and try to help. I immediately tried Dave R. again and finally got him. He stated that they were extremely busy but would try to get the job done before Christmas. Tonia called again on January 7 and left a message that Randy Payton had been put in charge of the project and would be calling me. I called her back on January 9 to find out what was going on. She seemed very surprised that he had not contacted me. She said she would give him another call. I called her again this morning and got Randy's cell phone number. I have left him a message and will continue to do so for the next day or two. If I do not get a response by Monday afternoon, I will begin taking more drastic steps to try and get the situation resolved.
