I just talked to Philip. The rain tonight will push the surveying of the
island back to Wednesday so we have a little time to discuss the island. I
mentioned to him about the sewer manhole on the pay estimate. He is still
going to try and get it in tomorrow morning.
I'll try and get some letters out tomorrow addressing some of the issues
that came up last week.

Suzan,
I just talked to someone in our office that has a little more paving
experience than I do regarding the 6" curb island. I wanted to go ahead and
send you an e-mail to save a little time. I can send a letter to follow.
If we eliminate the island then we create a situation as to where to put the
"stop" sign. If we remove the curb we create a dangerous situation with the
stop sign out in the middle of the pavement. ISI already called about
wanting to survey the island today or tomorrow. If the City wants to remove
the island then we will replace it with buttons.

I am faxing a copy of the site meeting notes and Pay Est. ~r2 review copy.
We need an answer today, on changing the 6-inch curb island to paving
buttons at the right turn lane on Ruby. ISl will be paving on the 20th.
Larry Davis only has one exception to Pay Est. #2. - Item 401, Sanitary
Sewer Manhole. The existing manhole located at the west end of Creekview
has not been adjusted. I will fax Philip a copy of the site meeting notes,
also.
