Re: Creekview Drive & Freeport Parkway
Ms. Taylor,
I received the following response from my athletics supervisor regarding usage of Wagon Wheel Park. I
think we can work around most of these issues, the use of the fields will be primarily in the evenings and
weekends.
Soccer is currently playing out at Wagon Wheel Park. They are utilizing two fields. Traffic should not be
a problem with just two fields in use for three days a week.
Baseball will be utilizing Wagon Wheel Park February 16 & 23 both Saturdays. The combined traffic of
Soccer and Baseball may cause problems.
Baseball does have two tournaments out at Wagon Wheel dudng this time as well. They are March 1-3
and March 8-10. Traffic could be a problem at that time too.
The only other possible conflict that I can see are deliveries to concession stands.

ISI is currently constructing a temporary roadway along the north edge of the existing Ruby Road to allow
for the detour of traffic at the intersection of Ruby Road and State Road/Freeport Parkway. The phasing
of the traffic will cause changes in the direction of traffic and delays. It is our expectation that ISI will
have completed the necessary amount of paving required to allow unrestricted access to Wagon Wheel
Park, on or before March 15, 2002.
Engineering respectfully requests that we be notified of any scheduling activities at WWP that may
cause hardship for the general public or impact the maintenance responsibilites in WVVP.
