Dear Mr. Griffin:
After execution of this Supplemental Agreement No. 1, the Engineering Services Contract
between the City of Coppell and Turner Collie & Braden Inc. for the DeForest and Sandy Lake
Wastewater Lift Stations and Force Main Improvements will be modified as follows:
The Engineering Services Contract is revised to increase the compensation from
$405,863 to $415,289, an increase of $9,426. This increase in compensation is requested
due to additions to the Scope of Services as described in Exhibit A and Exhibit B
attached hereto. Compensation for these services will be in accordance with the original
Engineering Services Contract dated March 7, 2001, Section 3A - Compensation.
All other terms and conditions of the Engineering Services Contract dated March 7, 2001 are
unchanged and remain in full force and effect.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
DEFOREST AND SANDY LAKE LIFT STATIONS AND FORE MAIN IMPROVEMENTS
GENERAL
O. 1. Project Description
The additional services to be provided for this project consist of the re-alignment of the
20" force Line "C" to avoid a conflict with a proposed retaining wall included in the St.
Joseph Development. TC&B was not made aware of the proposed retaining wall until the
plans for the 20" force main Line"C" were 100% complete.
FINAL DESIGN
· Update four plan and profile sheets with information provided by Aguirre Engineers
showing the proposed facilities on the St. Joseph Development.
· Modify horizontal and vertical alignment on four plan and profile sheets to re-align
the 20" force main around the proposed retaining wall.
· Update quantity summary sheet and bid quantities
