Dear Mr. Campbell,
Durable Specialties completed the installation of a traffic signal system at Coppell High
School almost two years ago. Durable Specialties will fulfill all contractual obligations;
however, we respectfully consider the failure of a loop detector after two years not the
result of defective materials or workmanship but rather normal wear and tear due to
normal vehicle traffic and/or environmental stress or condition. The maintenance bond
for this project covers defective materials not wear/tear due to operation use.
