Re: HRWS 4.5 Acre Tract Floodplain Reclamation
Dear Mr. Spain:
As you are aware, on July 3, 1990, staff forwarded the above referenced
floodplain study report, by N. D. Maier Engineers, to FEMA headquarters.
In this letter, city staff and city consultant recommended that such
floodplain study be approved, since the applicant's request meets the City
of Coppell's Floodplain Ordinance #87390 (See attached correspondence
dated 6/7/90 and 7/3/90.)
It is my understanding that the requested additional information and data
has been provided to FEMA. Please note that based on my recent telephone
conversations with Mr. Meyer of NDM Engineers and Mr. Morrison of Morrison
Engineering (formerly known as Kimley-Horn & Associates), at this time,
all FEMA's comments have been addressed. However, we have not yet
received the final approval letter and/or map from FEMA.
