The narrow, two lane detour road is in my opinion very dangerous and I am hopeful that all of us that travel that route daily can be on a safer alternative. On Monday, February 8, 1999, the traffic signal lights were malfunctioning during the morning rush hour creating another very hazardous condition. I am sure that your city budget is strained and police officers are extremely busy at that time of day, but it certainly would have been reassuring if some type of traffic control could have been present. That area of Denton Tap also brings out the worst in some drivers. I have witnessed a great deal of what is currently termed "road rage," and in my vernacular this behavior is pure selfish rudeness. Is it possible to have some law enforcement presence for a short period of time (just occasionally) to make a few people drive like Christians again? Thank you for reading this, I don't mean to be critical, just a little concerned with the hazards (both from the construction and the people) on this short stretch of Denton Tap. Thanks again, Frank J. Odstrcil 918 Granview Drive Lewisville, TX 75067 FOdstrcil~.aol .com 2/11/99 '
