The City of Coppell has received varied opinions from concerned citizens regarding the need for
a traffic light at Natches Trace and Denton Tap Road. We are now proceeding with installation
ora traffic signal that should become operational no later than the beginning of school in August
2002. If permanent materials cannot be secured, a temporary light will be installed. Once all
materials are in place, the permanent light will be installed. The light will operate during peak
school traffic time to facilitate access to and from the school sites. During off-peak and non-
school hours, the light will only mm green for Natches Trace if there is a vehicle waiting on
Natches Trace to enter the intersection.
