Early Grading Plan Review Comments
Dear Mr. Langston:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
1. The Cover Sheet must indicate that the plans are for "Grading Only" rather than
"Construction Plans".
2. Only preliminary dirtwork will be allowed. No permanent improvements are to be made
until final construction plans have been approved.
3. The City's Building Inspections Department must grant approval for water injection of the
building site. Their telephone number is 972-304-3500.
Once these comments have been addressed, please re-submit this marked-up set, two sets of
revised plans, a "Hold Harmless" letter from the property owner, and a completed Early
Grading Permit Application to the City for review. When approved, we will require 2%
inspection fees for the grading portion of the project prior to releasing the signed plans. If you
