I pulled out the plans and looked at the fiber lines labeled "FO"between Sta. 31+00 and Freeport. It will be
crossed eleven times to extend the Fire
Hydrants to the curb and crossed nine times by storm drain laterals. The
storm drain lateral depths range between 5 and 8 feet and the water line
depths range between 4 and 5 feel The fiber optic conduit, according to
Qwest, is suppose to be 4 feet deep. Therefore, we will be feeding the
storm drain laterals and water pipe under the fiber conduit. Based on the
number of crossings, we think it would make more sense to have the conduit relocated. The contractor
will not be required to work around the conduit.

RE: Bethel Road
Buzan,
I pulled out the plans and looked at the fiber lines between Sta. 31+00 and
Freeport. I'm assuming the fiber line libeled "FO" is the Qwestrrouch
America conduit. It will be crossed eleven times to extend the Fire
Hydrent~ to the curb and crossed nine times by storm drain laterals. The
storm drain literal depths range between 5 and 8 feet and the water line
depths range between 4 and 5 feet. The fiber optic conduit, according to
Qwest, is suppose to be 4 feet deep. Therefore, wa will be feeding the
storm drain laterals and water pipe under the fiber conduit. Based on the
number of crossings, I think it would make more senca to have the conduit
relocated. According to Qwast, there are actually 4 conduit in the bundle,
:which includes one QwesL one Touch America and two empties. Also, the
Qwest line is not lit up, only the Touch America line.
