Sidewalk Review Comments
Dear Mr. Schnitger:
Following a review of the above referenced plans, the following comments are offered
for your consideration:
SHEET NO. 1
1. The sidewalk must meet all ADA requirements.
2. Show a bold line at the beginning and end of the sidewalk that is not part of
this contract and make the crosshatching bolder. Change "End Sidewalk" to
"End Sidewalk This Contract".
SHEET NO. 2
1. How will the proposed sidewalk adjacent to the proposed Tennis Center align
with the new drive?
2. Change "End Sidewalk" to "End Sidewalk This Contract" and "Begin
Sidewalk" to ''Begin Sidewalk This Contract". Show a bol.cl line at the
beginning and end of the sidewalk that is in the area of the existing stockpile
and make the crosshatching bolder.
3. Show a cross-section of the sidewalk next to berm and the back-of-curb.
4. It appears that the berm is going to be graded. The grading, irrigation, and
landscaping are not in this construction contract.
