Dear Ken,
Attached is a final invoice for the Denton Tap Road Project. The contract for services
provides that we provide to you one set of drawings and specifications suitable for
reproduction and digital files at the end of the project. We prepared the construction
plans and specifications for the bidding phase, which are reimbursable as per our
contract and are noted in the attached invoice.
We anticipate the City will have plan changes during the construction phase and will
request an As -Built Record Set of plans. We will provide you with reproducible "As -Built
Record Plans" and digital files at the end of the project at no additional cost to the City.
We have set monuments and completed surveys along the project right -of -way. If
monuments and property comers are removed during construction, we anticipate being
reimbursed for re- setting these items.
We have enjoyed working with you and your staff on this project and are available if
questions arise during construction. The contract does not provide for our being
involved in the construction phase as part of the basic services. We will make periodic
in -field observations if requested or needed at no additional costs to the City. If
inspection of pier holes or other items which require extended and regular presence at
the job site is requested, we anticipate this would be additional to our contract. Please
let us know if you have any disagreement with the comments above.
