As of this writing, I have responded to your issues via ajobsite meeting some two-and-one-half (2.5 hours) upon receipt of your letter. At this meeting, you and I addressed each o£your issues: 1. The pipe described as being laid backwards was laid with the spigots upstream. The length of pipe itwolved with this error was less than 130 lineal feet and was corrected immediately upon discovery the same day it occurred. 2. Some compaction testing has been perforated during thc ditchline backfill operations. However, we were unaware that you required thc testing [ab to be on-site all day during all construction activities to test each lift as it was placed. This requirement was not addressed in the preeon meeting; therefore, we were preparing the ditchline for testing after the fact, not as we go along. We will do as required from this point forward. 3. Regarding thc work performed on Saturday, February 3rd -- Our foreman was not trying to mislead you. He was not going to be perfolTni,;g work he thought required city inspection or supervision when he told you no work was going to be performed. His scope of work for this past Saturday was for clean-up operations aud genera[ backfill activities. This was clearly a misunderstanding on his part. 4. The trcneh safety plan was submitted to the city at thc prccon meeting. Again, I apologize for thc miscommunication in not presenting tiffs plan directly to you. As a result of our mceting, you now have a copy in your possession. I regret that the lines of communication between you, my jobsite foreman, and myself, during our last few days of production have resulted in the tone o£ indifference your letter reflects. It is the intent of Site Concrete and its employees to cooperate fully with the City of CoppclI and its represental.ives in the completion of this project. I feel that, in looking back after our meeting, thc issues of your letter were a result ufa misundastanding based upon miscommunication. I hope that, should any other situations occur in the future, you will please feel free to coutact mc direct (972-978-9128 mobile or 972-802-1417 pager). I am on this jobsitc a minimum of every other day. I look forward to the contlnucd progress of this project with you.
