We are in receipt of the TXU comment letter dated 7/12/01 that you forwarded to us.
Generally speaking, we would defer to Hanson's expertise related to the proper handling
of the TXU pipeline in all respects.
The concrete cradle that we called for originally was to provide support for the TXU pipe
after construction. It was our belief that it would be unlikely that adequate compaction
could be achieved with earthen fill. Given that the TXU pipe will now be removed,
conventional backfill should probably be used. Again, we would defer to Hanson for
specifications.
We have no other comments. If you want to discuss this further, let us know.
