Dear Mr. Elium:
The Lease Agreement between the City of Coppell and the Dallas-
Fort Worth Airport for the tract of land south of Bethel Road and east of
County Line Road is scheduled for approval by the Board on June 11,
1979. In accordance with our previous conversation, the following pro-
vision will be deemed to be included in the Agreement:
The City of Coppell agrees to indemnify and hold harm-
less the Board, the Cities of Dallas and Fort Worth,
their officers , directors , agents , and employees from
and against any and all claims for damages or injuries
(including death) , to persons or property aris~.ing out of
or incident to the leasing of , or the use and occupancy
of, the leased tract by the City of Coppell, and the
City of Coppell assumes al! liability and responsibility
for injuries, claims or suits for damages to persons or
property of whatsoever kind or character, whether real
or asserted, occuring during the term of the Agreement
in connection with the use or occupancy of the leased
tract by the City of Coppell, its employees , citizens ,
patrons , guests or invitees .
If the above is agreeable, please indicate your acceptance by signing
below and returning a copy of this letter to my office.
