LEASfi AGREEMENT
STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF DAJ,LAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
This Agreement, made and entered into this day between Dallas/Fort Worth
Airport Authority, hereinafter called Lessor, and (•itv of Goppell, Texas, hereinafter
called Lessee.
W ITN ESSETH:
That Lessor, in consideration of the covenants and agreements to be performed
by Lessee. and upon terms and conditions herein stated does hereby Iease, demise and
]et unto Lessee, the City of Coppell, Texas, the following described tract of ]and
located in Dallas County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
Being a tract of land 400 feet wide by 600 feet deep and containing
epproximate]y 5.5 acres;
Said tract being south of Bethel School Road and approximately 920
feet east of County Line Road No. 78;
Said tract of lend being more particularly shown on the plat attached
hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof for all purposes.
TERM OF LEASE. This lease shall he for an indefinite term subject to the
right of either party to terminate the lease by giving the other party six months notice
in writing.
RENTAL 1?AYMENTS. In consideration of this lease, Lessee promises and
agrees to pep Lessor, the sum of $10.00 per year.
NO RIGHT OF ASSIGNMENT. Lessee shall have no right of assignment.
IMPROVEMENT. Lessee shall have the right to erect a fence around any
portion of said tract and shall have the right to place on said property portable t~+pe
metal buildJngs or other such structures not to exceed one story in height. Lessee shall
also have a right to erect one or more security lights on the premises. Upon termination
of the lease, Lessee shall have the right to remove all such improvements.

USE OF PREMISES. The purpose of this ]ease is to allow Lessee to use the
area for a temporary maintenance yard. It is the City's intention to use the area for
outside storage of materials and motori2ed equipment and Lessee agrees not to construct
any permanent structure on said premises. Plans concerning the function and materials
tc he used in making improvements on the property will be first approved by 144ichael
J. Sganga, Director of Plenning and Engineering for the Dallas/Fort Werth Airport or
his successor or such other person as the Airport Authority shall hereinafter desir;nate.
NOTICE. Any notice required by this Agreement shal] he given to the City
of.Coppell by addressing such notice to the City Administrator, Post Office Box 478,
Coppell, Texas 75019, Notice given to Dallas/Fort 14orth Airport Authority shall be
addressed to the Director of Properties and Facilities, Post Office Drawer DWF,
Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, Texas 75261.
