RE: Creekview Drive
Per the construction meeting on June 6, we recommend that the contractor be
authorized to proceed with the following:
I . The construction of the 6' sidewalk along the north side of Creekview Drive per
the revised sidewalk alignment plans dated 5/08/02, that includes the sidewalk
from STA 16 +53.32 to STA 20 +48.52 (between the existing dirt pile and the
ROW). This work combined with the sidewalk construction along Freeport
Parkway should result in a total concrete sidewalk quantity of 2,159 S.Y.

Bid 2,300 S.Y. 529.70 $68,310.00
Actual 2,159 S.Y. 529.70 $64,122.30
Anticipated Savings S4,187.70
2. The earthwork required for the construction of the sidewalk along the berms
(STA 22 +00 to STA 27 +00) is approximately 333 C.Y. per the attached cross -
sections. Payment for this item will be as follows-

3. The sod quantity along Creekview Drive & Freeport Parkway is 5,378 S.Y. This
quantity is based on Addendum One, Item No.9, which states "Solid Sod shall be
placed five (5) feet behind all curbed areas and two (2) feet on both sides of all
proposed sidewalk. The entire median area from STA 32 +60 to STA 34 +60
along Freeport Parkway shall be solid sod. The Owner reserves the right to
adjust these limits during construction."

4. It appears that minor irrigation adjustments will be required on the top of the east
berm (STA 24 +50 to STA 26 +00). These should be coordinated with the park
maintenance crews and are subsidiary to the other items bid per General Note
No. 2 on Sheet No. 1.
5. 7,600 S.Y. of hydromulch seeding was added per Addendum One, Item No. 3 to
cover all remaining areas that are not to be sodded.
