The following is a response to each item you provided in the "DRC Agenda and
Staff Comments" letter faxed to us on 9- 28 -01. I will not be able to attend the DRC
meeting due to my going with my church, Highland Park United Methodist, on a mission
trip to Jaurez, Mexico to build a house for a family. I am a project leader and we are taking
mostly novices so they can obtain experience for when they take youth this coming spring.

1. Removed.
2. Removed one space, the door was suppose to be removed and the windows and
canopy are to break up the brink wall because of its high visibility to Denton Tap
Road.

4. Ladder is shown on back of building, if having an internal ladder is a City of
Coppell Standard we will move it inside, but that becomes a hazard for fire
department personnel and the workers inside the building if others are having to
access the roof from inside.
5. Clarified and the lights in the canopy shine down to the ground and do not
illuminate or shine through the canopy.
6. Our sign contractor is working on providing an exhibit for P Z.
7. Site Data Table is turned on and showing again.
8. We are turning in our original design and an alternative design, L -1B. We were
instructed that the 121 corridor required a thirty -foot (30') landscape yard. The goal
of the original design was to place the additional green space along the roadways to
provide a larger green area to the traveling public, exceed the minimum landscaping
requirements as you requested, and provide greater visibility to the traveling public.

1 Letter requesting 4,000 psi concrete is attached and notes have been changed to
reflect this.
2 This extension is on the adjacent property and does not service our lot, we are
requesting that the adjacent lot should have to construct its facilities sincc this does
not service our lot. We are extending the line down our property in an easement to
avoid being under the sidewalk or to dose to the transmission main currently in
Denton Tap R.O.W.

1 On our previous submittal your comment was plan only meet minimum
requirements, now the plan that has been through major modifications and added to
in design, creativity and detail is now not detailed enough, please explain.
2 Why is a natural plant that is being used in Highland Park and other exclusive
Neighborhoods not preferred, while it provides a natural contrast to highlight other
colors and plants. Why is it on your plant list?
I am returning Monday, October 8, 2001 in the late afternoon and will make any
changes that are needed for P Z submittal the next day. Thank you for your time and
