Suzan,
I met with Billy out on the site this morning to look at the alignment of
the sidewalk on Creekview. Apparently Larry had some concerns regarding the
YV per foot slope from the sidewalk to the back of curb. I told Billy that
typical would be YV per foot but in some areas the slope would be greater.
These areas are identified on the plans. They still haven't cut the
sidewalk down to grade near the berms so I told Billy we would look at it
again once they get it closer to the elevations shown on the plans.
I also looked at the revised sidewalk plans and marked them up with proposed
sod locations. If we sod between the back of curb and the sidewalk the
entire length of the walk including 2' on the other side of the walk, and
the median along Freeport, I get about 6,000 SY. Everything else could be
hydro mulched. Have you had a chance to mark up a plan yet?
I was also looking at the pavement markings. The markings on Creekview are
pretty straight forward. I think the city standards cover just about
everything. Is there a particular area that you are concerned about?
