Dear Mr. Denton:
Enclosed are two review copies of our report "Site 41DL12 at Sandy Lake Road,
Coppell, Texas" which was prepared as part of Texas Antiquities Permit 2845. As you
will see in the report, the extent of site 41DL 12 is unclear from the records but it appears
to have ~.extended north of the APE before the present road was constructed.
Testing determined that the most likely locations for the site, the closest to the property
line were filled with concrete and other recent historic trash. The other trenches contained
no cultural materials but w~terrace deposits similar to those described by Ferring, but
unfortunately missing their upper parts. Consequently, it is our opinion that no further
cultural resources investigations are warranted at site 41DL 12.
A copy of Abstracts is included with this letter and the reports.
Thank you for your help with this project.
