Re: Sandy Lake Road
Suzan, Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this project. I have
received a set of road construction plans from Dallas County and they have
the street light standard locations indicated on them. By my count, there
are 24 standard locations with a total of 48 lights. Oncor has a cost for
the 30 ft. square steel standards with 2-250 Watt HPS or 2-400 Watt Metal
Halide Rectangular lights of $1729 per standard, for a total of $41,496.00.
This assumes that your contractor will install all bases and conduit per
our specs. Please be aware that is a preliminary cost, and may change based
on internal cost changes or a change in the number of lights. Please let me
know if you need any further information.
Aisc, on this same project. Could you give me a schedule of this project's
bid dates, let dates, etc. I also need for the new right-of-way to be
indicated on the ground so that I can make sure of the location of our new
facilities. My number is 214-875-2245 if you would like to discuss any of
this information. Thanks!

Subject: Sandy Lake Road
Richard:
Dallas County is designing the Sandy Lake Road plans (from MacArthur Blvd.
eastward to the City limits) and the City will be responsible for the
construction of the project. The contractor will install the foundations
and conduit and the City is requesting Oncor to provide the wiring and the
street lights.
Are you the person I need to coordinate with on a design and cost for the
street lights or someone else? Please let me know so that I can send a
set
of plans to the appropriate person.
Thanks
