ST9401-CS 980112 (2)January 12, 1998 Tom Dingier, P.E. Director of Engineering City of Lewisville 1197 W. Main P.O. Box 299002 Lewisville, TX 75029-9002 Dear Mr. Dingier: On December 9, 1997 the City of Coppell City Council approved an interlocal agreement with the City of Lewisville to allow Lewisville to construct the portion of Denton Tap Road located in the city limits of Coppell north of S.H. 121 Bypass. As part of the interlocal agreement, the City of Coppell is providing an escrow check in the amount of $424,604.05. I have had conversations with the two property owners on the west side of Denton Tap Road regarding dedication of right- of-way. Both have indicated that they are willing to dedicate the right-of-way. Agreements have been placed on the January 13, 1998 City Council agenda to fmalize the dedication in exchange for roadway impact fee credits. I anticipate no problem with the agreement. Once the right-of- way documents are signed and filed at the county, a copy will be provided to you. The City of Coppell requests that the City of Lewisville proceed with the change order request to allow S.J. Louis Construction, Inc. to construct Denton Tap Road as described in the interlocal agreement. Your cooperation in the matter is greatly appreciated and if you should have any questions please feel free to contact me at your convenience. Sincerely, Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E. Director of Engineering and Public Works file/st9401/lewvle. 198
