Halff Associates, Inc. would like to submit a request for a waiver for the City of
Coppell lime stabilization requirement under car parking pavement. We are requesting to
use asub-grade compacted at a minimum of 95% of ASTM D698 near -1% to 3% of
optimum moisture content. The proposed pavement section shall be 5-inch thick 4000
PSI concrete for parking stalls and 6-inch thick 4000 PSI concrete for drive isles. This
proposed sub-grade preparation and pavement section specification was previously
approved by the City of Coppell for the construction of the original parking lot of Coppell
Commerce Center in 1999. If you have any questions or require any additional
