Final Acceptance - Pending
Dear Mr. Jordan:
Representatives of the City of Coppell performed a final walk -thru and inspection of paving and
utilities for the referenced project on October 30, 2001. Other than a few relatively minor issues,
the project seemed complete and ready to be accepted. The as-built drawings have been received
from the engineer; however, the two -year maintenance bonds have yet to be forwarded to this
office. The project will not be accepted as final until these bonds are received. Maintenance
bonds for paving, utilities and drainage structures must be issued for 50% of the contracted work
performed and written for a duration of two years by a reputable surety firm.
Maturity on the bonds will be two years from the date of issuance of the Final Acceptance Letter.
