Dear Mr. Askew:
As per you request, enclosed please find preliminary plans for the above referenced
project. I talked with the Fire Marshall concerning the minimum distance between a fire
hydrant and a parking pad. The Fire Department requires a minimum of three feet of
clearance around the hydrant. I will request the design engineer to ensure that all
hydrants meet this requirement.
