RE: Ruby Road Project
ST 01-02
Dear Mr. A~kew:
The City of Coppell intends to construct improvements along Ruby Road in the vicinity
of one of your residential communities. The Oak Park mobile home community has two
entrances and frontage along the road. The improvements will consist of the realignment
and reconstruction of Ruby Road from a two-lane asphalt roadway to a two-lane concrete
roadway with drainage improvements, and the installation of approximately 2450 linear
feet of 12-inch water line and 730 linear feet of 8-inch sewer line. The construction of
this project is anticipated to begin in September 2002 with an estimated construction time
of four months. You will be notified in advance of the actual construction start date.
It will be necessary to enter and move equipment onto the Oak Park property for
construction purposes. The proposed work on the property is between the existing
wooden fence and the right-of-way and generally consists of slope grading necessary to
tie the proposed finished ground elevation into the existing ground elevation and
construction necessary to match the proposed drive approaches to the existing drive-
approaches. Please refer to the enclosed plan-profile and grading sheets. The City will
restore the land back to its original condition to the maximum extent practicable. Where
sod, shrubbery, and plants are removed during the construction, such areas will have the
same sod, shrubbery, and plants replaced in their prior positions.
Your consideration of this matter is appreciated. Should you have any questions or need
any additional information please call me at 972-304-7019.
Sincerely,
suzan~c. Taylor
