Haverty's Expansion
OK- Review of the Haverty's file indicates that the property is properly platted and the approved site plan
should coincide with the expansion that they are proposing to construct.
Just a heads up- an additional 302 parking spaces are required as part of this 170,590 sq. ft. building
expansion. They have already received a variance to the parking requirement, so the 302 spaces are
vital. They must be on their construction drawings.
For reference, the site plan for this expansion was approved by City Council on December 12, 2000 and
is listed under Haverty's Site Plan Amendment for Lot 1R, Block 2 of Gateway Business Park.
