RE: Ruby Road Project # ST01-02
Dear Mr. Fielding:
This letter is written as a follow-up to our telephone conversation concerning construction plans for
Ruby Road. The plans have been sent to you twice before from Duke Construction most recently on
August 12, 2002. With this letter I am providing an additional copy of the construction plans with
various components highlighted. I have highlighted the existing overhead lines in yellow and circled
the existing power poles in red. I have also highlighted the existing roadway in blue and highlighted
the proposed outer limits of the roadway in pink. As can be seen all power poles on the south side
(total of 7) need to be relocated. Also, at least two poles on the north side need to be relocated.
The timeline for this project is to begin the bidding process in October, award the bid and begin
construction prior to the end of this year. It is critical that this road be complete by the early part of
2003 to serve a planned development on the south side of Ruby Road, west of Coppell Road.
