Solid Sod and Hydro Mulch Seeding
Dear Mr. Hammock
The placement of solid sod and hydro mulch seeding along Creekview Drive and
Freeport Parkway has not been initiated. The Bid Documents provide for the placement
of Bermuda grass, and it is nearing the end of the planting season for this type of grass.
The pay item description for Item #111 states that any solid sod installed after September
15 must be overseeded with annual ryegrass at the turf farm. Addendum No. 1 states that
the hydro mulch seeding of hulled Bermuda grass can only be done between the months
of April through September. A uniform stand of grass must be established prior to
acceptance of the grassing by the City.
