Construction Plan Review Comments
Dear Mr. Bentley:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the revised plans for the referenced addition and with the
following conditions, the plans will be approved.
1. A letter of approval from the owner of the Boorhem property is required to allow the
driveway curb return to extend across the property line. This will need to be submitted prior
to construction.
2. Water and irrigation service to the site will be made with a separate tap to the 8" waterline
instead of from the 6" fire hydrant connection. The location of the water and irrigation
meters shall not be within the fire hydrant easement.
Please submit revised copies for the City Engineer's stamp. The City of Coppell requires three
sets for its use; your office should submit as many additional sets as necessary for construction
operations. All contractors and subcontractors onsite must have a copy of the plans approved by
the City of Coppell.
All fees must be paid prior to release of this project for construction. These fees consist of
impact and construction inspection fees to be paid to this office. I have included an updated
development fee table since the size of the irrigation meter has changed since the original
assessment on January 29, 2002. The City also assesses a 2% inspection fee for all private
construction and 4% for public installations. If you have any questions, please contact me at your
