Callahan-CS020906From: Teresa Turner To: c3constructor@aol.com Date: 9/6/02 12:29:48 PM Subject: Callahan Addition Frank: In speaking with Beverly Huntsman in our Building Inspections Department, we are unable to issue a full Construction Development Permit until building plans have at least been submitted for review and all of the associated fees have been paid. Beverly indicated that they do not have any plans in review for the project. If you have any questions regarding the building permit process, please call 972-304-3500. We can, however, issue an early grading permit which would allow you to begin the dirt work and install your erosion control. I don't know how much this will help since this site does not appear to require much clearing and grading and the permit does not cover the installation of utilities. If you wish to pursue an early grading permit, I can fax you the application. The engineer would have to submit early grading plans which will consist of a cover sheet clearly labeled "For Grading Only", a copy of the plat, grading plans, and the erosion control plan. Also, inspection fees for the grading portion of the project would need to be paid prior to issuing the permit. We have assigned a contruction inspection to this project. His name is Rick O'Dell. He is responsible for scheduling the pre-construction meeting so I have given him your name and number. He will not likely schedule a meeting until the Building Inspections Department has received the fees and has the plans in review. If you have any questions, please contact me at 972-304-3681. Thanks. Teresa Turner, E.I.T. City of Coppell Engineering Department CC: Beverly Huntsman; Rhonda Brothers
