Dear Mr. Hammock:
The City is in receipt of your letter requesting payment for overtime construction testing
performed by Rone Engineers. The Bid Documents define a calendar day as the hours
between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on a weekday. Hours worked before 8:00 a.m. and a~er
5:00 p.m., all weekends, and holidays are considered to be overtime. The Contractor is
responsible for the scheduling and payment of testing services performed during overtime
hours. The project inspector, Larry Davis, has previously informed ISI staff that they
were responsible for all overtime costs associated with testing services.
The Rone invoice is being returned, and should you have any questions or need any
