Final Acceptance - Pending
Dear Ms. Cannon:
Representatives of the City of Coppell performed a final walk -thru and inspection of paving and
utilities for the referenced project on October 30, 2001. Other than a few relatively minor issues,
the project seemed ready for final acceptance, however, the two -year maintenance bonds required
by the City have yet to be forwarded to this office. The project will not be accepted as final until
these bonds are received.
Maintenance bonds for paving, utilities and drainage structures must be issued for 50% of the
contracted work performed and written for a duration of two years by a reputable surety firm.
Maturity on the bonds will be two years from the date of issuance of the Final Acceptance Letter.
Please forward the bonds to my attention as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please
