FIELD DENSITY TESTING
A Giles Engineering Associates, Inc. (Giles) representative was present at the above referenced site to test
compaction of the fill in the building pad.
Visual observations indicated material consisting of light brown clayey sand (Soil ID No. 1).
Field density tests were performed by nuclear method to assess the in-place density and moisture content of the
material. Test results at random locations indicated compaction of at least 97.5 percent of the maximum dry density
as obtained by the standard proctor method at moisture contents ranging from 14.4/15.5 percent (report of field
compaction tests is attached).
Based on our observations and testing, the test results performed this date were found to be in general accordance
with the project specifications.
We make no warranty, express or implied, except that our services were performed in accordance with engineering
principles generally accepted at this time and in this location.
